1. Board of Finance Meeting Reminder: Please come to hear the Board of Education present the 2010-11 school budget to the Board of Finance. 7:00 p.m. Senior Center. Be informed and express your voice on the proposed budget.
2. Project Lead The Way: Over one hundred people are coming to the Easton Learning Foundation's Birthday Party this Saturday, March 13th at the Aspetuck Country Club. Seats are moving fast!!!If you have not reserved a place, please do it today! There are only 50 seats left and this event will prove to be enjoyable and memorable! Visit the ELF website for details. You can access the website through our school website. Easy!!
Also, while on the website, take the time to participate in ELF's unique on-line auction! Items are irresistable. Look for Red Sox ticket information that will be posted very soon!! (Yankee ticket information is already on-line).
Remember all proceeds from the birthday party and the on-line auction will be used to initiate an Engineering and Innovation Lab here at Helen Keller Middle School this coming Fall 2010. Your child's education will be directly impacted as 'hands-on' activities integrating and applying science, math, technology and engineering concepts will be available for all sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. Your support of ELF's efforts is greatly appreciated!!
3. School Dance: Yes, your child is correct. There will be a school dance this Friday, March 12 starting at 6:30 p.m. Details will be sent home tomorrow. The Student Council has cancelled this dance twice due to weather, etc. and the remaining Fridays of the month are booked with different events. So. this Friday it is...
